The story
The host reads "Name a reason a Thanksgiving turkey comes out badly", the teams shout, and one click flips the tile with a ding: DRY / OVERCOOKED, 32 points. A wrong answer gets the buzzer and a red X.
How a round goes
About 3 to 4 minutes a round, so 10 to 15 rounds fill a 45-minute game night. The strongest rounds come first.
- Two players face off; the team with the higher-ranked answer takes control
- On the board: click the tile and the points add to the round total
- Not on the board: click STRIKE for the buzzer and a red X
- After three strikes the other team gets one steal
- Click AWARD POINTS and the scoreboard updates automatically

Questions
Does it work in Google Slides or PowerPoint Online?
No. It needs the PowerPoint desktop app on a Mac or Windows computer, with macros enabled.
I don't have PowerPoint. What can I do?
Microsoft offers a free 1-month Microsoft 365 trial that includes the PowerPoint desktop app. A payment method is required and it renews unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Can we play over Zoom?
Yes. Share your screen with sound; the Host Guide includes TV and Zoom tips.
Can I change the questions?
Yes. Every question, answer and point value is plain text you can edit, and you can rename the teams.
Are the points real survey results?
No. Points are the author's estimates of how a crowd answers.
Will it work on a school or work computer?
Those computers sometimes block macros. Test the file on that computer a day before your event.
What if a file won't open?
Digital files can't be returned, but if a file won't open or isn't as described, message us on Etsy and we will send a working file or refund you. See the refund policy.
